Global Champions Tour and World Class Eventing Program

I recently had the chance to work down in London again as the lead Farrier for the Global Champions Tour at the Olympic stadium in Stratford. It was 4 days competition watching the top 40 riders in the world battle it out for a prize pot of £650,000 spread over the classes! It was an amazing atmosphere and I really enjoyed seeing it and being able to be part of it.

I have also become the Farrier for the World Class Eventing development program. This was something that has been on the horizon for sometime now and I’m glad to be able to have landed it at last! I will be working with the Starting, Potential and Development groups, working on helping educate the riders and being able to advise and offer help coordinating with the home farriers and vets. I am very proud to still be working for the BEF on there EXCEL TALENT programs for the next 2 years program as well.
